175: Toronto Landscape and Laneway

The landscaping of this house is meant to give the building an integration with its immediate context by formally connecting the entrance with the street.

At the rear of the property, a Laneway makes a bend, exposing the corner of the lot as if it were the end. A Laneway Suite, built of salvaged brick and slate shingles, anchors that bend.

Construction is nearing completion as of the end of 2025, and photographs will be scheduled.
